2009 - Twenty two chicks collected for Aberdeen

A total of 22 kite chicks were collected this year for the project in Aberdeen. Following veterinary checks, the birds were successfully released during the summer months.

A total of 57 chicks have been collected from wild nest sites in the Chilterns and donated to Aberdeen since the beginning of the three year project in 2007.

The start of their long journey to their new home in Aberdeenshire.
