25 & 26 May - Nestwatch Disappointment

The late May Bank Holiday weekend brought terrible weather conditions once again, just as they did at the same time last year.

Upon arrival at the Garden Store on Sunday, I was greeted by the sight of an empty nest! All three chicks were no longer there. What could have happened to them?

One possibility is that the cold wet conditions caused the chicks to become chilled.

Another possibility is that they were predated.

I don't think we will ever know what happened to the three chicks.
